The Star Reader award recognises students who have been identified by the classroom teacher(Stage 2 & 3) as highly engaged in recreational reading over the fortnight. Some examples of why students have been chosen might include:
* they were totally engrossed during DEAR time;
* retold an exciting part of the book they're reading at home
* recorded a variety of titles in the home reading log.
- We aim to promote recreational reading as a worthwhile and fun activity amongst our students and their families.
